Hey! I’m Jess!
I spent years bouncing between different workouts—CrossFit, kickboxing, yoga, HIIT—you name it, I probably tried it. But nothing really clicked until a friend convinced me to try Pilates in 2019. At first, I was completely intimidated. The reformer looked complicated, and honestly, when I scrolled through social media, I didn’t see anyone who looked like me in the Pilates world. But with a little push, I gave it a shot—and I fell in love. Not just with the movement, but with how it changed my relationship with my body.
Pretty quickly, I realized I wanted to teach. And once again, I faced the same feeling—like I didn’t fit the mold of what a Pilates instructor was supposed to look like. But then it hit me: if I had seen someone like me leading a class, I probably would have started Pilates way sooner. So, I pushed past the doubt, got certified, and started teaching in 2020.
Fast forward to 2024, and life threw me an unexpected curveball—a corporate layoff after 18 years. But instead of seeing it as an ending, I saw an opportunity to build something that truly matters to me. The Reform Room was born from my love of movement, connection, and community. It’s a space where every body belongs, no matter where they’re starting from. Because Pilates isn’t just for one type of person—it’s for you.
My classes are all about strength, flexibility, balance, and breath, but more importantly, they’re about showing up as you are and finding joy in movement. I’m beyond excited to bring this to the community I love—the place where I’ve built my life and raised my children.
Outside of teaching, you can find me traveling the world, lifting weights, enjoying music, laughing with my friends, watching movies with my film-enthusiast husband, and cherishing moments with my two 16 year old kids!
